Letter to mother from daughter. “A letter to my mother A letter to my mother in my own words

Jill Alaimo - blogger and beautiful daughter

Jill has already graduated from college, now she lives in Rochester (a city in the northern part of America) and works as an assistant at Tipping Point Communications. The girl grew up, but managed to maintain the most reverent and tender relationship with her mother. One day, she wrote her a heartfelt letter of gratitude, which quickly went viral on the Internet.

Dear Mom! I never told you about this, but I am very grateful to you. You gave me life, and took care of me every minute, and gave all your love and tenderness. You have always been for me the role model that a girl could only dream of. No matter what I did, you always knew how to find words that made me think about my actions. I know you only want what's best for me. And although I don’t show it, I always feel a feeling of boundless gratitude and love for you. Without you, I would simply be lost in this huge world.

You taught me a lot, and to this day, when I have difficulties, I go to you for help. You taught me to distinguish bad from good. It doesn't matter if it was just the terrible clothes I wore when I was 16 or something more serious. You taught me to listen, understand and love. Your words always help me make the right decision. Thank you for being there and protecting me. Your love inspires me.

You know how to cheer me up when I'm sad. You send me text messages “I love you” just like that, for no reason. It's nice to chat with you about anything. When I'm having a bad day, one minute spent next to you makes me forget all my troubles. I know you always tell me the truth. It doesn't matter whether I want to hear it or not. After all, you always know what is best to do, and you want to make sure that I know it too.

I completely trust your advice, because only you feel me better than others. And that's what I love about you. Thank you for being my biggest fan. You are always there and sincerely share all the joys and failures with me. Come rain, shine, snow, hurricane or earthquake, I know I can count on you. And to be honest, it's the best feeling in the world.

You are the smartest. Whatever question I have, you always know the answer. They say that mothers know everything, and this is true. I don't know how you do it, but your intelligence amazes me.

And finally, I want to thank you for being my best friend. Without your help, I would not be who I am today. I am the happiest girl in the world, because you are my mother. And even if we sometimes argue, we still remain the most dear people to each other. I just want you to know that you are the best mom in the world and I hope that someday I can be half as good as you. Love you!

Your little girl

Two weeks before Mother's Day of Russia, the local branch of the All-Russian Movement "Mothers of Russia" organized a creative project "A Letter to My Mother". The essays were written by students from many schools in the region. Today we publish the best works.

Letter to my mother

My mother's name is Sveta.

I would like to address her with these words:

Mom, you are my favorite person on earth!

In these moments that you give me, I am the happiest in the world!

I'm trying to imagine how it was...

I’m lying in the crib... You swaddle me with love and affection, singing a lullaby.

I’m one year old... You’ve probably been tired these days, because it’s very difficult to cope with your restless daughter.

I am five years old... I already know how to hold a fork, spoon, and make sandwiches correctly.

In kindergarten I have many friends - my mother taught me to value friendship.

All my drawings and plasticine crafts were just for you, dear mommy!

I’m already ten... I’m a schoolgirl. My mother taught me to be neat, to keep things clean, to choose clothes that suit me in style and color. I help with the housework, wash the dishes, feed the pets. I really want to be useful so that my mother gets tired less and smiles more!

Now I’m twelve... For my birthday, my mother baked a beautiful cake, prepared a delicious lunch and gave me a wonderful gift! She teaches me how to use cosmetics. My mother began to let me go to the disco, she allows me to hang out with my girlfriends longer in the evening, but she always worries and waits for me. But you have to start trusting your daughter someday!

I study to get a good education and to please my dear mother. Every day we discuss my school work, successes and failures, I trust my mom in everything!

If I have problems, mommy supports me, gives me advice and tells me that she loves me with all my bells and whistles.

I love you very much, mom! I wish you happiness, health, and remain as cheerful as you are now! I am grateful to you for the love, warmth and kindness that you give me all my life!

I know that for you I will always be a little daughter and that I can come to you for help and support at any time!

Your daughter Alena.

Hello, my dear mom!

Your son Ilya is writing to you. You always protect me, help me, and I will love you forever. You know, mommy, as soon as I’m left alone, I immediately start missing you. You are the most beautiful! Your hair is so beautiful and soft. And your green eyes are beautiful like emeralds. I love your warm and gentle hands so much!

Every year for my birthday you bake a very delicious cake. I really like it and so do my friends.

I feel sad when you get upset. I will try not to upset you. I want you to be healthy and happy. I want to spend all my time with you. I love you very very much.

Bye, my mom. Your son Ilya.

My dear mother!

I decided to write you a letter and tell you how much I love you. I know every child thinks that his mother is the best in the world. And I think so. You are the dearest and closest person to me. Only you can I tell about my secrets and dreams.

Mommy, you are the most beautiful, kind and sympathetic. You help me do difficult homework and are understanding about my occasional failures.

I like the way you prepare food. I especially love your roll with condensed milk.

I want to tell you, my dear, thank you for your affection, love and kindness! Your son Sasha.

Alexander Guzhva, 5th grade, Novokreshchenka village

Hello, dear mother!

I love you very much and I want to write you a letter. I have no one closer to you. I love your smile, green eyes and cheerful laugh. You are my caring and kindest mother in the world. Many people respect you, and I respect you very much and cherish you.

When I was little, about five or seven years old, you bought me toys almost every day. And once again you told me: “This is your last toy.” But we both knew that wasn't the case. And you bought me toys again and again, because you are very kind, mom.

Do you remember how many funny incidents happened to me? One day you sent me to the store for flour, butter, sugar and eggs. I came to the store and saw a very beautiful chocolate bar that was simply impossible to refuse. I bought it and with joy I forgot about all my other purchases. When I came home, you weren’t angry, but laughed merrily. And instead of the planned pie that you wanted to bake, we drank tea with delicious chocolate.

I think you didn’t scold me because you are very kind and know how to forgive. Mommy, you are the best in the whole wide world! Your son Daniel

Daniil Khandoshka, 7th grade, Novokreshchenka village

Dear mom!

How are you? I'm fine. Mommy, I want to tell you how good it is that I have you! You always help me. I feel so good with you!

Mom is the most important thing in a person’s life. You love me like no one else and will never give me bad advice. I apologize for all the bad things I ever did to you. Sometimes, if I do something bad, you will, of course, scold me, and then you will hug me and feel sorry for me. And it’s so nice, it feels so good in your soul that you can’t put it into words. There was an incident in my life that confirms this. Once I broke a cup, and I told you that the cat did it. Of course, you believed me and weren’t angry with me at all, but my innocent cat had a bad time. But do you know how hard it is to live with a feeling of guilt in your soul? The next day I confessed everything to you, my soul immediately felt better. Moreover, you didn’t scold me, but gently hugged me to you and quietly whispered that you loved me very much. This is my mommy: sweet, kind, affectionate and very wise.

Until we meet again, mommy, live a long, long time and don’t get sick!

Your beloved daughter Julia

Yulia Forostovskaya, 5th grade, p. New Christian

Hello, dear mom!

I want this letter to bring you joy and make you smile.

Today I say thank you so much for everything: for your daily care and love for me, for giving birth to me, for helping me do my homework, for being able to listen and understand in difficult times. I am sometimes disobedient and misbehave. But I know that you will forgive me. I want to ask you, Mommy, for forgiveness for sometimes upsetting you.

The word “mother” emanates kindness, care, and affection. Mommy is like priceless gold that cannot be compared with anything.

I love it so much when you and I do something together: working in the garden or making dumplings on winter evenings. I can talk to you sincerely and frankly about everything in the world. You are my most beautiful, kindest, most tender, most beloved. I love you very much, because you are the closest person in my life. It is such a blessing to know that I have you. Your son Danil

Danil Lebed, 5th grade, Novokreshchenka village

Hello, my dear, dear and beloved mother!

You and I see each other every day, but I don’t tell you the words that I should say every minute... I think that on paper I can write those words that I didn’t say before. It’s true what people say: “Better late than never.” Life is short, so you can't be silent.

My dear mommy, I want to tell you that in this life you mean a lot to me. Of course, it would be better to tell you these words in person. I will definitely do this, I promise! For me, you are the closest and dearest person on this huge planet. I think you will understand me. You are my closest friend. I can always ask you for advice. You can be trusted in any situation. You are a very reliable person and will never betray me. Dear mom, you gave me life. From birth you surrounded me with care and love, you didn’t sleep at night when I was still just a baby. You always worry about me. I will be forever grateful to you.

My dear, I want to ask you for forgiveness. After all, we often quarrel over trifles; some word, thrown out of no malice, hurts you very much. Please forgive me!

You taught me a lot. I promise that I will try never to upset you. Oh, my dear mother, if you only knew how much I love you. You are amazing and my only one. And also, my dear mother, I want you to never get sick, so that everything in our lives will be fine. I promise to help you with everything. My dear, darling, priceless, I love you! See you soon. Your daughter Tanya.

About mom

My mom is very caring. Her eyes are green and her hair is dark. And the main thing is that mommy is patient. Mommy helps me do my homework. Mom has a lot of worries and troubles: cleaning the apartment, washing clothes, preparing delicious food.

Mommy loves to drink tea and loves cleanliness and comfort in the house. While drinking tea, my mother and I talk about everything in the world. Mommy is my best friend! Mommy will always help me out and support me. I love and adore my mother very much.

Why do I love mom?

I love my mother because for me she is the most precious thing on the planet. Mom gave birth to me, fed me, did everything to make me grow up and become a smart and educated person. She does the laundry, cooks, doesn’t sleep at night, worrying about me. My mother is the most beautiful and very smart. When I have a question, she will definitely tell me the answer to it.

I love my mom very much!

Mother

I love my mom because she gave birth to me. She gave me a beautiful name Albina. She is kind, cheerful and beautiful. She is the best mother in the whole wide world. Even when I grow up, I will visit my dear mother and take care of her. And she cares about me and wishes me happiness and success in my studies.

Mommy

My mother is very dear to me, and I love her very much. Mom is the dearest person, even dearer than her relatives. She is kind, beloved and beautiful. If she leaves, then I miss her. And when she is next to me, I feel warm and good at heart. That's why I love her more than anyone in the world.

Ilya Dyadchenko, 2nd grade,

With. Vostretsovo

Dear mommy! I want to confess that I love you very much. Mommy, for me you are the most beautiful, the kindest and the most cheerful. You are the infinitely dear thing that I have in the world, you are a piece of my soul, without which I would not know life. Today is Mother's Day, and I want to congratulate you with all my heart and with all my loving heart on this very important holiday for all children. And tell you many of the most affectionate words that exist. You always know how to find comforting words when I feel bad. I understand how difficult it is for you to be with me, I know what kind of character I have, but despite this you are always there. And in general, you just love me, thank you, mommy, for that... And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I did without thinking.

Your always loving daughter Julia.

The dearest and dearest person to me is mommy! Know that no matter how I behave, no matter what I say, no matter what actions I perform, you are always in my heart, I love you very much. Today is a holiday, your holiday, and I want to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. I am not always the way you want me to be, the way an ideal daughter can be: attentive, obedient, kind; but I’m always ready to listen to your advice and try not to do anything stupid. You are the only one who feels how hard it is for me, only you can understand me, only you alone have such kind and gentle hands... Dear, I rarely say thank you for the sleepless nights, for the warmth, for the understanding, for the fact that I live. You are like air to me, which I need every second, like water, without which I cannot last a day. Mommy, you are the most important thing in life for me,

the most precious and dear.

Your daughter Alyonka, who always loves you.

My good and dear mother! Today I want to tell you that you are the most beloved, the most tender, the most affectionate, the most good-natured, the dearest to my soul, the closest to my heart, the most glorious, sweet, sunny, bright and damn charming. You are the eighth wonder of the world for me, because you gave me peace, gave me life. You are a miracle of miracles, you are like a valuable piece of gold, a scarlet flower, a bird of paradise, you, mommy, are the most precious thing on earth. Your maternal tenderness sparkles like an invisible pure light, and your golden, sensitive hands make me feel unusually strong love for you, your gentle voice always sounds in my heart. You are an angel and deserve only happiness and love. All angels deserve this! Forgive me for not always being obedient, helping you, asking how you are doing. But I know that you will forgive me, forgive your little naughty girl, forgive her for everything that she does, because this naughty girl is your little blood who madly loves you, a piece of your world. I know that you love me precisely for this, just as I love you, because you are a mother.

Your always loving daughter Alina.

My beloved mom! Today I remembered you, and the words of a wonderful children’s song came to mind: “Mom is the first word, the main word in every destiny! Mom gave life, she gave peace to me and you!” Who among us has not heard these wonderful words? And almost everyone thinks that they are said specifically about his mother! Of course, this is about you too, mommy. In my letter I would like to say a huge thank you for everything you do for me. You are the most important person in my life. And not only because she gave me life. But because you are always next to me. You perceive me as I am. Sometimes it seems to me that you know me more than I do. You always know how it will be better for me, but you never insist on your own. This is your wisdom: you understand that I only learn from my mistakes. I really love coming home, because you tried very hard to make our home always warm and welcoming.

Your always loving daughter Anna.

Dear Mom!

Happy Mother's Day! I want to thank you for having me, for giving birth to me, raising me, giving me love and affection, always being with me and at any moment I can turn to you for help. Thank you for accepting me as I am, with all my shortcomings. Thank you for never stopping loving me and wishing me only happiness. I always feel a sense of gratitude and love for you, but, unfortunately, I don’t always show it. And I am very grateful that you have learned to perceive me as I am, and not to take everything to heart. More than once I caught myself thinking that my mother is the best and I don’t need anyone else. And it’s true, you couldn’t be found better! I want you to know: my family is the most important and valuable thing in my life, and I love you all very much!

Dear Mommy, Mommy, Mom!

For the first time I am writing a letter to you... What kind of MOM are you to me? First of all: the only one! Secondly: my beloved, although I rarely tell you about it. You have always been and will be like this for me all my life! Every mother is different, but for me you are special! You taught me a lot and I will come to you for advice. You gave me life, raised me, raised me to my feet. Thanks to you, I understood what love, understanding and respect mean. I love you very much, dear! Thank you for life! Thank you for having me! And happy holiday to you - Happy Mother's Day! It's your day, Mommy!

With love, your daughter Daria.

Dear Mom!

Today is a holiday, and I want to congratulate you, my ray of sunshine, on Mother’s Day! I want you to remain the same beautiful and unique mommy! Do you remember when I was feeling bad, you sat by my bed day and night. And I didn’t want you to leave! With your own hands you can ward off any trouble. When it’s hard for me, I go to you, and after talking with you everything seems not so tragic and hopeless. I want to say “thank you” for supporting me and not feeling defenseless, and for giving me life!

Your always loving daughter Anastasia.

My precious, beloved mother!

I owe you a lot, but first of all my life. You give me hope when I need it, support, understanding and love. You believe in me, even if I don't. This is probably the great power of motherhood - to protect your child like you protect me. Today is a difficult day, as every person in the world tries to pay tribute to their mother, and I will not be an exception. My dear mommy, Happy Mother’s Day to you! I wish that you never get upset over trifles, and always live in prosperity and happiness. I love you very much, I appreciate you very much and I promise to protect you from adversity.

You raised me to be a worthy person, and I will never

I will not fail. Your always loving daughter Marina.

Dear mother!

There is no person dearer and closer than you! I wish you, priceless mommy, to love life in all its manifestations, maintain excellent shape and remain the same stunningly beautiful woman that we all know you! May your eyes always be filled with joy and love, and may your trembling heart rejoice in the sun and the singing of birds. Thanks to you, my life is beautiful and interesting. Be always young, beautiful, active and loved by everyone, dear mother!

Your always loving daughter Olga.

Dear and beloved mother!

I can’t even express in words the feelings that overwhelm me. You protected me from adversity all the time. When I was sick, you looked after me. For me, you are support and support. Thank you mom!

Thank you for being you and for being me. Thank you for your care and patience, for your firmness and affection, for your care and attention, for never judging or betraying, for always supporting and forgiving, understanding, helping and not giving up. Thank you, dear!

Your loving son Kirill.

Hello, dear mother! On this special day, I want to confess to you - you are the most beloved and dearest. I want you to have no problems in life, to be understood and appreciated. I sometimes quarrel with you over trifles, but I am always ready to help you, listen, support and ask for forgiveness if I am wrong. I know that you love me, even though I am naughty. And know that no matter what happens, no matter what happens, I love you, I have no person more dear to me, and you are the only one in the world!

Son Dima, who always loves you.

Beloved mother! Today is a holiday, and I want to ask you for forgiveness for all the bad things I have done. I am not always obedient, but I always try to improve. You are smart, kind, sensitive and simply the best. I know that you love me, and I will always love you, because you gave me life and do everything to make me happy.

Your loving son Ilya.

Mother!

“A short word - only four letters. But it warms more than fire, makes you move forward, inspires, gives strength, because it is the word “mother”. For some, mom is the closest friend, for others, an assistant, but for me, mom is more than the closest and dearest person, you feel me better than I do myself. There are many people around me: teachers, friends, their advice deserves respect and attention, but who can help in a controversial situation better than the person who gave life?! Only your words reach your heart and help you make the right decision! I can be a kind and harmful, obedient and ungrateful prickly hedgehog, but I know that you, mom, love me any way...

Your loving son Ivan.

Mommy! I want this letter to bring you joy and make you smile on this day. Today I want to thank you so much for all the earthly warmth that you give me. It is a great happiness to know that you are loved. And yours, Mommy, is the most tender, sincere, devoted, unique and bright. You give me hope and meaning in life. Today is a holiday, and I want to congratulate you on it. I wish you happiness and health. I want every morning in your life to be sunny and clear.

I'm not always attentive, but I always think about you.

My loving son Mikhail.

Mother!

I rarely tell you about this, but now I want to say that you are my friend, you help me with everything. You are the only person I can tell about my failures without fear of you pushing me away. You will always listen carefully and help me. Your advice helps me overcome all troubles!

I know that you love me for the fact that I am your son, for my character traits, for my advantages, for the fact that I try to become a good person in this life, for my ups and downs, for what I bring to you With dad there is more joy than sorrow: I know how to get along with people, I help you with household chores. I'm trying to make you happier!

Son Sergei, who always loves you.

My dear, beloved, dear mother!

I had the opportunity to talk about my feelings for you. My love for you overwhelms me, and it is very difficult for me to express this love in words on paper. But I will try for you, my dear little man! On this special day I want to confess to you that I know that I may not always be a good son. But I’m growing, I’m maturing, I’m learning to live correctly in this world, and believe me, my dear mother, I will upset you less and less! I know how important my love is to you! I want you to be happy, and I understand that this depends largely on me!

Son Dmitry, who always loves you.

I am 1 year old. Mom, you are the whole world to me. Your hands, hugs, smile - these are the main things I need now. I want to be next to you every minute, feel your smell, hear your voice. I feel so good and safe when you are near. I'm learning to walk, talk, behave like you. I want to be like you, mom!

I am 5 years old. Mom, you are my first teacher - how to make sandwiches, cook pasta, how to make friends, what is good and what is bad, how the world works, and where do rainbows come from? I really like it when you and I are together and chat about this and that. You are the best mom in the world! And the most beautiful. All my drawings and crafts are for you, mommy!

I am 10. I am a schoolgirl. I have many girlfriends. But I really want to be friends with you, mom. So that you reveal to me the secrets of the female world, teach me how to take care of myself, choose clothes, and use cosmetics. So that we have our “women’s” secrets. So that I can tell you how Lyoshka from the parallel class looks at me. And also, how great it is that you can explain to me a difficult topic in mathematics!

I'm 15. I'm a stubborn teenager. I ask you not to interfere in my affairs, not to educate me. I consider myself old enough to make my own decisions. Your advice and moralizing irritate me terribly, Mom. I myself know what I need. But, Mom, it is so important to me that, despite all the stupidity and rudeness that I tell you, you remain on my side, trust me, believe in me. In fact, it is infinitely dear to me that you are interested in my affairs and my life. I so hope that at home they love me and welcome anyone - with piercings, tattoos, black hair, a broken heart or in love with a new guy. Now it is so important for me to understand who I am, what I am, what I love and what I believe in. I really need to feel like I'm standing on my own two feet. And I strongly push away from you and your support. But don't be afraid for me, mom. Let me go, and I will definitely return to you - matured.

I am 20 years old. I am a student. I feel grown up, young, strong. I have my whole life ahead of me, and I am sure that I will achieve a lot. Men like me, I have money. Sometimes it seems to me that I understand life better than you, mom. Your ideas seem outdated to me, and your interference in my life seems intrusive. Let me go, mom. Allow me to go my own way, make my mistakes. And also, mom, I really want you to be happy, to have your own life, work, friends. Your happiness makes me free. This makes it much easier for me to become happy myself. Just one thing, mom, believe in me. I need this so bad right now.

I am 25. I live separately, I'm married. Now I am a mother myself - I have a baby. Mom, I didn’t even know that right now it would be so difficult for me to be close to you. I try to be a good wife and mother. I want to take into account and correct all the mistakes that were made in my childhood. These are your mistakes, mom. How many of your “mistakes” I see now. And I have so many “whys” for you. It turns out that I am offended by you for a lot of things, mom. I disagree with you in many ways, and it’s hard for me to take your advice. I am grateful to you for everything, but in my family I want to do everything differently. And here’s another thing. I can be distant or harsh in asserting boundaries. But, mom, it is so important for me that you are still there and accept my position - maternal, marital, feminine. So that she doesn’t criticize, but still believes in me and trusts me.

I am 30 years old. I think I've begun to understand you, mom. Understand why you acted the way you did. Why couldn't she do it any other way? I see again how you loved me as a child, how hard you tried. I was offended by you. But I so wanted to be perfect, and I so wanted you to be perfect. And now I see that I, too, am mistaken and cannot do otherwise... And how important your experience is to me now - how you forgave yourself, how you strove for me, despite my resistance. How you remained close even when I thought that I didn’t need you. I again want you to be my friend and share your experience and knowledge with me. And yes, mom, your help to me now with the children and housework is simply invaluable . I really need her. Because no matter how hard I try to keep my face up, I get terribly tired.

I'm 40. Difficult period, transitional. The children are growing up, I’m not so young anymore. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to do something in time, that I won’t have enough strength for something. How was it for you, mom? What did you find yourself in when I grew up? I can imagine how difficult it was for you to let me go! How I need your advice and support now! How wise you were then, but I didn’t notice...

I am 50 years old. So my children grew up and flew off to build their own lives... Age is already showing itself, I don’t have much strength anymore... I have a good job, I am respected, I have achieved a lot. I'm independent, I'm doing well. But HOW I need you now, mommy! My loved one, who has been next to me all my life, who has seen me both strong and weak. How I want to lay my head on your lap and become little again. I'm so tired of being grown up and strong. Even though I’m hiding it, I’m scared. I am afraid of old age, weakness, loneliness. And how grateful I am for seeing how you grow old, how you fight illnesses, how you love every day, how you strive to live!

I'm 70. Mom, you are no longer here. But you're still by my side. You know, I love my old age because I saw how you loved yours. I'm not afraid to move on because I've seen you go your way. I remember your hands, hugs, your wonderful smile. I remember how you loved me, making mistakes, getting tired, afraid of losing. She loved me, despite my obstinacy, alienation, claims, and resentments. She loved me no matter what and believed in me. And thanks to this, I now love my life so much!

Mom, mommy, mommy, mommy... Many years will pass, I will change, the world around me will change, but these words will remain the most dear and beloved in my life.

There is a wonderful saying: “A person should be lucky three times in life: who he is born with, who he learns from, and who he marries.” I was definitely lucky in the first one. I have the best mother in the world.

My mom is kind, gentle, affectionate. She knows how to support in difficult times and give practical advice. Mom became a friend and like-minded person for me; she understands and respects my interests. Mom always listens to my opinion and, if necessary, gives the right advice. Thank you to mom for being who she is and that her maternal heart is always ready to love and forgive!

“Big things are seen from a distance,” says popular wisdom. I think we will be convinced of the truth of this proverb more than once when we fly out of our native nest, and therefore now I want to say to my mother: “Thank you, dear, for everything you do for me.” It’s a pity that sometimes with my actions or harsh words I can offend you and upset you. Sorry about that. But at the same time, I am never embarrassed to be kind and gentle with my mother.

Years will pass, a lot will change, I will become an adult, I will have a favorite profession, a strong and friendly family, but I will definitely come to my father’s house, visit my mother, and remember my carefree, happy childhood, which I had thanks to my beloved mommy. And let these verses become a kind of guide to life for you and remind you who the most important person is for each of us.
Go around the whole world
Just know in advance:
You won't find warmer hands
And more tender than my mother’s.
You won't find eyes in the world
More affectionate and stricter.
Mom to each of us
All people are more valuable.
A hundred paths, roads around
Travel around the world:
Mom is the best friend
There is no better mother!
