The best New Year's actors

Before the game starts, the presenter makes some designations - shows the actions that children should do when they hear this or that word, for example: lanterns - they twist their hands, snowflakes - children spin, garlands - children blink quickly, wind - children blow, and so on. Then the leader begins to command and monitor how the children remember and perform the actions. That is, when the presenter says: the lanterns are now being lit, the children must turn their hands. And now the garlands are turned on - the children blink quickly. And now snowflakes are falling - the children are spinning. The leader repeats himself repeatedly, and the children perform the actions. Gifts for everyone

Near the Christmas tree there are little animals (soft toys), for example, a bunny, a cat, a dog, a monkey (2 of each animal), and “gifts and treats” for the animals are scattered throughout the room, respectively - carrots, fish, seeds and bananas (from colored paper, felt or plastic models). Children are divided into 2 teams. For one team, the animals sit on one side of the tree, and for the other, on the other. At the command “begin”, the children begin to look for gifts for their animals: they found a treat - put it in the animal’s mouth and continue searching. When the host stops the game, a count is made to see which team was able to collect more “gifts and treats” for their animals. This team will be the winner.

Best gift

For each child, the teacher prepares cardboard boxes (gifts) and identical sets (glue, rain, paper, children's scissors, markers, ribbons, and so on). At the “start” command, children familiarize themselves with the snowflakes and distribute them, putting identical snowflakes into separate piles. The team of kids that completes the task faster than the rest will become the winning team.

Who was left without a gift?

For this competition you need to prepare pictures of animals, for example, a bunny, bear, monkey, dog, cat, chicken, etc. (in several copies, depending on the number of teams) and pictures with treats for these animals (carrot, barrel of honey, banana, bone, fish, grain, etc.). For each team (in the same way), on a separate table or on the floor, pictures of animals and pictures of treats are laid out scattered, excluding one picture with a treat for an animal, for example, a picture with a banana. At the “start” command, children begin to “investigate” and try to find out faster than their rivals who was left without a gift. But this is not enough. As soon as the children guess who was left without a gift, they must draw a treat on a piece of paper for the animal that did not receive anything. The team that completes the task faster and better than others will win.

Friends of Santa Claus

The presenter invites the children to remember who can be a friend of Santa Claus and takes turns calling a chain of words, for example, hippopotamus, deer, crocodile, giraffe. This little competition can be hosted by one of the fairy-tale characters or Father Frost and the Snow Maiden themselves. No more than four kids can participate in this almost detective game at a time.

First, the organizers of the holiday must draw four “paths” on the floor with multi-colored chalk, which would cross each other, twist in zigzags, run in different directions, that is, they would be very dangerous and difficult routes.

Attention game "One, two, three!"

This game requires attentiveness and intelligence. It will certainly amuse children who are at least seven or eight years old: it uses numerals, so the child must be able to count.

Rules of the game: on a chair in the center of the circle formed by the players, there is a prize, decorated in a New Year's style. You can only grab it when you hear the number “three.” But the presenter will indulge in deception. He will try to say the word “three” several times, but will always add some ending. The game is good to play with fun rhythmic music. The children are standing around. All players are blindfolded with scarves. On a large Whatman paper, children take turns drawing some part of the figure of Santa Claus. Each child is given a “snowball” (a small cotton ball). WHO IS BIGGER?

Father Frost, the Snow Maiden or the Snowman makes a “snowfall” - he scatters a whole bunch of paper snowflakes upward. Children are given baskets. At the signal, players begin collecting snowflakes in a basket. The one with the most snowflakes wins.

CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE

Children select gifts from Santa Claus's bag by touch, describing in detail what it is and what it is like. Or you can hide gifts in boxes of different sizes so that children can imagine what might be in the box (it will be even more interesting if the smallest gift is in the largest box).

BAG OF SURPRISES

Two children compete (in turns). The first person is blindfolded and given a small bag containing various toys (cubes, balls, nesting dolls, cars, etc.). Task: take objects out of the bag and identify them by touch. The player must answer what kind of thing he got. Then the toys are changed and the game is repeated with the second participant. Of the two, the one who correctly guessed the largest number of toys wins.

NEW YEAR'S CONCERT

FUN RATTLER

Santa Claus competes with children in running in sacks or jumping on one leg around the Christmas tree. One condition is mandatory: after running or jumping to the agreed upon place, you must take a rattle - a maracas on a chair in front of the tree and ring it.

Catch up with felt boots

Children stand in a circle and are given felt boots in their hands. Children pass felt boots around in a circle to cheerful music, and Santa Claus tries to catch up with him. Children need to hand over the felt boots very quickly so that Santa Claus cannot take it away.

These games can be used at a matinee in kindergarten and at home, among friends.

What types of Christmas trees are there?
The presenter (he can be dressed in a Santa Claus or Snow Maiden costume) says:

At the presenter’s signal, the players who were given paper snowballs begin to throw them into the bag of their partner, whose task is to catch as many snowballs as possible. If there are many players, you can divide the pairs into two teams. Then the team with the greatest total amount of snowballs caught by all pairs wins.
Fox and rattles
The presenter puts on a fox costume. Each player is given a rattle. Cheerful rhythmic music turns on and the children scatter in all directions from the fox. When the music stops, they must quickly hide the rattles behind their backs. The fox starts looking for rattles. She approaches the players one by one and asks to show her first one hand and then the other. Children need to transfer the rattle behind their backs from one hand to the other so that it does not make noise, and the Fox makes sure that the player does not have the rattle. If he fails to do this silently, he drops out of the competition. The game continues until there are one or more players left who have never “given” the rattle to the Fox.
Instead of the Fox there can be any other New Year's character. This game is best played in a spacious room or with a small number of players.

This game is not only fun, it also helps children develop their memory. First you need to learn a simple quatrain with them:
Santa Claus is coming, coming to us,

First you need to repeat it several times in chorus all together so that all the children remember the text well, and then you can start playing. Some words from the rhyme are replaced in turn by gestures and movements. For example, first the words “we” and “us” are removed from the poem, and instead the players must point to themselves. So gradually there are fewer and fewer words, and more and more gestures and movements, and each time it becomes more and more difficult not to get lost. When the children read the quatrain for the last time, only the verb “will bring” and prepositions will remain from the words.

Snowball
Standing in a circle, to the accompaniment of cheerful music, children pass a specially prepared “snowball” made of cotton wool or white fabric. The words they say:

Catch the fox

All the children, except two, are hungry foxes; a long scarf is attached to the waistband of their trousers or skirts, hanging with the free end down. In winter there is little food, and the foxes decide to sneak into the village to steal the chicken. But the chicken coop is guarded by dogs (two or more, depending on the number of foxes). Having noticed the foxes, the dogs rush in pursuit, they need to grab the fox by the tail-scarf and pull it out from the belt. The fox, whose tail was torn off, sits on a bench. Then the players change roles.
