How beneficial is a hydromassage bath for your feet! What are the benefits of a hot tub for feet? Foot bath with hydromassage contraindications

The hustle and bustle of modern life primarily affects health. This is where the legs of many female diseases “grow.” High heels, nylon tights, tight shoes, standing on your feet all day, fast walking - all this leads to arthritis, varicose veins, bursitis, heel spurs, corns and many other misfortunes associated with beautiful female legs. In addition to the main course of treatment, all these misfortunes can be alleviated by foot baths at home, which are not only easy to prepare, but also pleasant to the senses.

Beneficial properties of foot baths

The versatility of home foot baths is explained by the fact that there are many reflexogenic, vital zones on the feet. Any impact on them affects human health, affecting almost all body systems. Firstly, water therapy is used, which gives rest, relieves fatigue and tension, improves mood, calms and relaxes. Secondly, the thermal effect on the skin of such baths is the acceleration of blood circulation, on which the processes occurring in the body largely depend. Thirdly, the healing power of such procedures is determined by the composition of the prepared solution. You can make salt, mustard, herbal, turpentine, soda foot baths - and each of them will have specific properties. In general, they solve a variety of problems:

  • are an additional remedy in the treatment of colds (bronchitis, pneumonia, acute respiratory viral infections, acute respiratory infections);
  • help with cardiovascular diseases;
  • lower blood pressure;
  • relieve pain from inflammation of the joints, rheumatism;
  • treat abscess and fungal infections of the legs;
  • increase body temperature for a short time, thereby causing profuse sweat, with which harmful substances are removed from the body through the skin;
  • have a calming effect on the nervous system, help you fall asleep quickly and soundly until the morning;
  • relieve headache and muscle pain;
  • soften corns, remove heel spurs, make rough skin on the feet softer;
  • eliminate unpleasant foot odor and prevent excessive sweating;
  • treat all kinds of leg diseases listed above.

By choosing the right bath to solve your problem, you can alleviate your condition, recover faster from the underlying disease, and improve your physical and psycho-emotional state. All this is possible if not only the indications, but also the contraindications for such foot water procedures are observed.

Contraindications

You cannot do foot baths at home without a doctor’s permission if you have the following diseases and conditions:

  • with varicose veins;
  • with thrombosis;
  • for peripheral vascular diseases;
  • for diabetes mellitus;
  • with frostbite;
  • in case of individual intolerance to the components of the bath;
  • during pregnancy;
  • at temperatures above 38.5°C.

Failure to comply with these contraindications is fraught with deterioration of the condition and various side effects that will require serious treatment. If there are no such health problems, you need to find a suitable recipe and use it.

The best foot baths: recipes

Before choosing a specific foot bath recipe, pay attention to its composition: are you allergic to these components, are they all available to you in the required volume. Consider the therapeutic purpose of each bath. It would be foolish to wait for the effect of a cold treatment if you need to get rid of sweat.

  • Salt

In order to relieve congestion in the vascular system, it is recommended to take salt foot baths, which are very effective in relieving negative energy and emotional stress. There are a lot of recipes. For example, to bring down the temperature and relieve a cold, you can make a pine-salt bath. Dilute a few drops of pine oil in water and dissolve coarse sea salt. For a liter of warm (the temperature should be comfortable for your body) water there should be 1 drop of oil and 1 tablespoon of salt. The procedure lasts only half an hour, but during this time it is advisable to gradually add hot water with salt previously dissolved in it into the basin. For colds, salt foot baths can be done every day, to prevent venous diseases and relieve fatigue - twice a week.

  • Mustard

In childhood, many people probably took foot baths with mustard, which improved blood flow, warmed them and helped with colds, coughs and stuffy noses. For this procedure, only mustard powder is used, and not table mustard in its pure form. Per liter of water - 1 tablespoon of powder. You can keep your feet in a mustard bath for 10 minutes, or half an hour, but constantly add hot water to the basin. You need to do such baths every day until complete recovery.

  • Sodas

Very popular because of their versatility are foot baths with soda, which soften calluses and prevent excessive sweating of the feet. To prepare such a healing bath, ordinary baking soda is dissolved in a basin of warm water. 1 tablespoon of powder is consumed per liter of liquid. If you add half a glass of chamomile and calendula decoction to soda foot baths, they will perfectly heal microcracks and remove a layer of rough skin on the heels.

  • Turpentine

Recently, turpentine foot baths, which are prepared using a special pharmaceutical solution, have become widespread. They are recommended for arthrosis, arthritis, viral infections, hypertension, weakened immunity, and after a stroke. First, the feet need to be immersed in 3 liters of warm water (approximately 37–38 °C), add 20 ml (this is 1 capful) of solution to it, and mix. Sit like this for no more than 10 minutes. The full course of treatment ranges from 10 to 20 baths.

  • From sweat

Pour 50 grams of oak bark into 500 ml of boiling water and keep on fire for 20 minutes. After cooling and straining, mix the decoction with 5 grams of propolis tincture in alcohol and 1 tablespoon of fresh honey. Dissolve 100 ml of the resulting mixture daily in warm water and make foot baths to remove sweat and odor for ten days in a row.

  • From fatigue

If you are no stranger to herbal medicine, you can make herbal foot baths for fatigue, which perfectly relieve tension and pain. Place 2 tablespoons of linden blossom and chamomile (in any form - dry or fresh) directly into the basin, pour in a liter of boiling water, and leave for 5-10 minutes. After this, add another liter of water at the desired temperature and dissolve a couple of tablespoons of honey in the bath. The procedure time is about 20 minutes.

Properly prepared and used as intended, homemade foot baths are an additional treatment to the main course of therapy for many diseases. A pleasant, relaxing, healing procedure will help relieve stress, fatigue, tension before bed and will have a beneficial effect on the entire body.

Foot massage is one of the best ways to relieve tension and fatigue. It does not require much time, since the area affected is small. At the same time, the feet are the part of the body where a large volume of arterial blood is converted into venous blood. Peripheral circulation plays a huge role in human health. A hydromassage foot bath helps keep the entire body in good shape, as it has an effective effect, albeit indirectly, on this part of the circulatory system.

It is thanks to its healing properties that foot massage with water, that is, hydromassage, has recently gained great popularity in Europe. At the same time, this technique has been practiced in folk medicine in Asia and India for centuries. Aromatherapy was also invented there, which allows you to get rid of many health problems that arise against the background of psycho-emotional stress. The combination of these two types of physiotherapy can have a powerful beneficial effect not only on a person’s physical but also on a person’s mental health.

What are the benefits of a hot tub for your feet?

Thanks to the effects of warm water, blood circulation improves as blood vessels dilate and muscles relax. Feet endure enormous loads throughout the day. Their structure allows them to absorb impacts when walking and running. All joints in this part of the body are connected by elastic and strong ligaments, but the bones themselves are quite small compared to others, and therefore more fragile.

To ensure that bone and connective tissue does not suffer from heavy loads, nature provides it with a high ability to regenerate. But restoration requires nutrients - “building materials”, as well as oxygen. All this is supplied by the blood stream. If the blood vessels do not do their job well, a person’s legs quickly get tired and even cramps are possible. The latter are a real “distress signal”, which indicates that the muscles need rest and warmth.

Doctors recommend buying a hydromassage foot bath not only for people who move a lot, but also for those who spend whole days sitting in a chair. In this case, the problem is different, but it also leads the cells to oxygen starvation. There are no muscle fibers in the venous vessels, so the blood, which has given oxygen to the tissues and is saturated with carbon dioxide, moves to the heart, and from there to the lungs, only through muscle contraction. If a person moves little, he experiences stagnation of venous blood and, as a result, varicose veins.

At first, this problem does not cause any discomfort and causes disappointment only as a cosmetic defect. But prolonged oxygen starvation can lead to serious consequences. To prevent this from happening, your legs must work. If this is not possible, then hydromassage baths come to the rescue.

A sedentary lifestyle also worsens blood flow to the pelvic organs and inflammation occurs there. After all, the blood contains the most important “defenders” of a person from bacteria and viruses, “garbage collectors” - leukocytes. Lack of physical activity has a detrimental effect on the immune system, as lymph circulation also deteriorates. Swelling occurs and the person gets sick more often. Once again, foot spas prove beneficial. Thanks to these simple devices, you can also improve your immunity.

Hydromassage foot baths: indications and contraindications

If you are interested in the question - benefits and harms of a hydromassage foot bath - due to the presence of any diseases in you or the person to whom you are going to give it, we strongly advise you to consult a specialist doctor in a particular field of medicine. There are a number of general contraindications for which it is not recommended to use this type of equipment.

These diseases include the following:

  • infectious (fungal, viral, bacterial) lesions of the skin and toenails;
  • fresh wounds, open calluses;
  • blood diseases leading to decreased clotting;
  • tumors of different etiologies.

It is strictly forbidden to use such physiotherapy procedures in late stages of pregnancy, as well as with an increased risk of threatened miscarriage or with high uterine tone, placental abruption and other pathologies. Varicose veins may be associated with thrombosis, for which hydromassage baths should also not be used. Joint pain should not be treated with such physical procedures. And at elevated temperatures you should also avoid hydromassage.

At the same time, such devices can provide real help with so-called sore throat. This is pain caused by an increase in lactic acid levels in the muscles as a result of unusually high physical activity. If you are tired and want to relax, if you have been forced to walk in high heels all day, if your feet hurt due to the fact that they have to withstand heavy loads, feel free to put your feet in the bath and enjoy the hydromassage. Any water procedures help well with nervous stress.

Warm water helps you relax, but to raise your tone, on the contrary, it is better to use a contrast bath. Properly selected aromatic oils also contribute to relaxation. However, before you buy a foot hydromassage bath, ask whether the manufacturer allows the use of such variations.

The health benefits of using hydromassage baths have proven to be so beneficial that in some countries it is even recommended that senior managers undergo such treatments before making important decisions or after hard work. After all, normalizing blood circulation in the legs helps improve blood circulation throughout the body, including the brain, and also prevents the risk of a nervous breakdown.

Which is the best hot tub for feet?

The models differ not only in volume and external design, but also in functionality. In general, the design of the device is not particularly complicated. Its main “working body” is a pump, which sprays streams of water through nozzles. So they have a massaging effect. But some models also have a built-in aerator, which creates air bubbles, which also perform massage functions. A panel is provided to control the hot tubs, and some products are equipped with a remote control. Some devices are equipped with a water heating temperature regulator or additional rollers located on the bottom. You can look at different devices using the example of three hydromassage foot baths.

Model Us Medica Happy Feet

The designers chose an interesting color combination for the Us Medica Happy Feet model - white and orange. White is neutral, and orange, according to research by some psychologists, stimulates mental activity.

Bath volume - 3.3 liters. In the front part it is equipped with a removable visor that protects against splashing water. There are light indicators on the inner surface. Rubberized feet prevent slipping even on wet tiles.

In the back there is a special slot into which one of three pedicure attachments is inserted. There are also massage rollers at the bottom. This model has a special container into which you can pour salts or pour aromatic oils. In addition to hydromassage, this version of foot baths also has a vibration massage function.

Ecomed FootSpa

The Ecomed FootSpa hot tub weighs half as much as the previous one. The colors are calmingly neutral – white and grey. This bath also has two modes, which, however, are slightly different from those offered in the Us Medica Happy Feet model. Here you can select the “Water jet and heating” or “Water jet, vibration massage and heating” mode. The water temperature is maintained within a specified range, which you can choose yourself.

Medisana FS 885 Comfort

Medisana FS 885 Comfort is the heaviest bathtub of all considered in this mini-review. Her weight is 3 kg. At the same time, it has the widest range of capabilities. An electronic timer allows you to monitor the procedure time and see the selected modes, which are configured using the remote control. In addition to the usual horizontal rollers, there are also vertical ones. You can use sea salts, decoctions of medicinal plants, and aromatic oils. The intensity of the modes also varies. If desired, you can adjust the water temperature from 24 to 48°C.

Recently, society has experienced a sharp acceleration in the rhythm of life. A person began to experience increased stress on the body and, consequently, the need for intensive means to restore his own strength. To keep up with the times, you need to have good health and not allow various kinds of overloads to undermine it even for a short time.

What is the best way to maintain human health in modern life?

Achieving good health every day using traditional methods is for most people a difficult task that takes energy and resources. Moreover, the high cost of many restorative and sometimes dubious drugs may not allow for constant care of the body at the proper level. The factor of limited time also becomes an obstacle to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. After all, not everyone has the opportunity after a hard day to visit a spa, fitness club or any other paid relaxation section, where they can only take advantage, for example, of treatments using a hydromassage foot bath. And there is no need to talk about a miracle drug in the form of a tablet that can remove all the negativity of the past day without any effort due to its objective absence in pharmacies. Therefore, the question of a suitable remedy that can restore the health of any interested person with a minimum of material costs and time becomes acute and pressing.

Pleasant and gentle home doctor

As you know, the most effective way to maintain the body in a potentially high vitality without outside help is to carry out daily home procedures for caring for your body. Along with various devices, devices and other numerous means of supporting health, hydromassage baths have become one of the scientific and technical inventions with very convenient and pleasant opportunities for relaxation of the human body.

Hot tub for the most sensitive part of the human body

Using bulky bathtubs equipped with hydromassage and acting on all parts of the body on a regular basis seems to some extent a rather expensive and burdensome task. Although every person wants to live with a good mood and good health. Fortunately, the range of therapeutic and restorative devices included a hydromassage foot bath!

What is the main message this device brings to the entire population and to each person in particular? This invention allows the vast majority of people to turn their desires into reality. After all, its compact size, affordable price, strength of therapeutic effects and other advantages make the device popular among people interested in their own health.

What does this device represent? Why is he attractive? And who is it suitable for?

The principle of operation of hydromassage has been known since ancient times, but only wealthy people had the opportunity to use it. Innovative developments have allowed the vast majority of society to become owners of devices that allow them to take care of their feet at home! It is important for a person’s feet not only to maintain the correct temperature regime, which prevents hypothermia, but also to have daily relaxing effects on them in order to relieve physical stress from exertion.

In the time of our grandparents, such restorative procedures for the legs and the whole body were carried out using heated water in a basin. But the new, fast-paced and innovative age dictates completely different approaches to maintaining health, offering a hydromassage foot bath as the main substitute for a basin of water.

What are the benefits of hot tubs for feet?

In addition to the favorable comparison with a full-body hydromassage bath, having such a device means receiving a large number of life incentives and benefits, namely:

  • replace depression with vigor, and lethargy with freshness of the body;
  • relieve excess fatigue;
  • overcome muscle pain and headaches;
  • raise your mood to good conditions;
  • organize a healthy night's rest;
  • carry out procedures in the comfort of your own home;
  • receive not only treatment, but also pleasant sensations;
  • if desired, combine procedures with some available home activities;
  • use the device with the whole family.

It is worth knowing that foot baths with a hydromassage effect are a means of restoring the entire body, and not just a separate part of it. This fact is explained by the anatomical features of the lower extremities, and especially the feet.

Even ancient Chinese folk medicine proved in practice, which was later confirmed by modern doctors, a beneficial effect on the body through a large number of acupuncture points on the human feet. Moreover, these nerve endings make it possible to achieve a therapeutic effect on almost any internal human organ.

However, each restorative procedure has its own characteristics, as well as the individual properties of the individual person’s body. This suggests the likelihood of different kinds of side effects in people with some significant deviations in health indicators.

Contraindications to the use of hot tubs

In medicine, there are a number of human diseases in which you should treat hydromassage with caution, for which you should consult a doctor. Especially a hydromassage foot bath may be contraindicated for people who have the following significant changes in the body:

  • chronic cardiovascular diseases;
  • renal pathologies;
  • varicose veins;
  • some skin disorders;
  • chronic hypertension;
  • diabetes.

Important! The main list of contraindications for the use of hydromassage devices applies to models equipped with infrared elements and magnets. Here, ignoring a consultation with a doctor means taking your own health lightly!

What are the capabilities and features of hydromassage devices?

All other cases indicate the benefits of foot massage in baths. A positive effect on human health is achieved through the expanded functionality of the device. Judge for yourself, a hydromassage foot bath, the price of which is in a reasonable range (for example, a Lumme-1311 massage bath with a basic set of functions costs about 1,200 rubles apiece), can provide the patient with up to eight types of massage and an expanded number of treatment methods: contrast , tonic, cleansing, healing.

Almost all models of foot baths include three main operating modes, using bubbles, vibration, or a combination of both. Some types of hydromassage foot baths are equipped with additional means to enhance the therapeutic effect and increase comfort:

  • sets of magnets (magnetic therapy);
  • infrared emitters (IR);
  • aromatic and essential oils (aromatherapy);
  • manicure products;
  • remote control functions;
  • devices for removing fat deposits in certain areas of the body.

As for the last type of addition, here we can talk about a multifunctional device based on a foot bath. After all, the product package may include, for example, a massage belt for the abdomen. That is, during leg procedures, you can connect this very belt to the device, which helps burn excess fat in the abdominal area.

Recently, a hydromassage device equipped with infrared emitters has gained popularity among buyers. IR elements have a positive effect on bone tissue, reducing pain and preventing the development of leg diseases, and the bath can also operate in dry mode.

How to choose the best hot tub for your feet?

If we do not take into account the price component, then it is necessary to identify the presence of the following optimal indicators in the foot bath model:

  1. the presence of at least two hydromassage effects (bubble, vibration);
  2. the ability to adjust the intensity of bubble and vibration modes of operation;
  3. average power 150-200 watts;
  4. a mandatory combination of water and dry massage.

In fact, even the most multifunctional hydromassage foot bath is easy to maintain and does not require any additional investment of time or material resources. The main mode of use is 2 sessions lasting 10 minutes each. The functional effect on the legs is carried out by simply switching buttons on the device or changing special attachments.

Where is the best place to buy a hydromassage foot bath?

All of the above is a sufficient reason to look for a store for hydromassage foot baths, and certainly on the Internet. Here you can always write the phrase “hot tubs for feet reviews” in a search engine, which will allow you to once again be convinced of the benefits of this product for human health using the examples of others. Also, the virtual network allows you to find a model that meets the personal needs of each buyer in a short time and at minimal cost. The search promises to be convenient!

An important factor in maintaining good physical well-being is taking care of your feet.

This question is relevant for both the female and male half of humanity, because the rapid pace of modern life forces both to accelerate. People are in a hurry, travel long distances to solve various problems, and many of the girls walk through life beautifully - in high heels.

Outwardly, such a spectacle is, of course, impressive. But what do tired feet feel when they put on comfortable slippers in the evening? Fatigue. Accumulated. Layered. Often permanent.

Home Relaxation Product

An effective device for restoring the energy spent in the bustle of the day, as well as conducting a pleasant relaxation procedure, is an excellent remedy - hydromassage baths. Such devices are attractive in appearance, as they are made in a modern design style. They are easy to use and do not require any special knowledge. Their functionality is available even to those who do not like or do not know how to communicate with technology. Just fill up with water and plug in the device. And, of course, it is recommended to read the instructions at least to understand all the capabilities of the miracle technology.

The benefits and harms of which are actively discussed by consumers of this product are intended for daily care of their own health. This is a real relaxation for tired legs and a great opportunity not only to have a pleasant rest, but also to improve your well-being, strengthen your strength, and restore your health.

Installation of hydromassage baths

What is a hydromassage? It is a plastic container of a certain shape, equipped with:

  • a device for heating water and monitoring the maintenance of its comfortable temperature;
  • built-in pump;
  • an aerator, the function of which is to saturate the water with air;
  • nozzles located at the bottom of the bath and supplying water.

Some hydromassage baths, the benefits and harms of which are of concern to people concerned about their health, are equipped with additional nozzles, which expands the range of their capabilities.

An important factor is the power of the bath. The higher its indicator, the better the water heater will maintain the required temperature. The lid of the bath should reliably protect against splashes so that after the procedure there is no need to clean up.

There are a few things to consider when purchasing a hot tub: The buttons on the control panel should be positioned so that you don't have to bend over to change them. Therefore, it is recommended to choose models in which the buttons can be switched by foot or remotely.

Functionality

The main function performed by a hydromassage foot bath is produced by the action of special spikes located at the bottom of the device. Some models are equipped with an acupuncture surface, with the help of which a massage effect is produced on biologically active points on the soles of the feet.

The massage can be performed with both air bubbles and water jets. Both procedures bring incredible pleasure. The air, being forcefully pushed into the water column, creates powerful vibrations that penetrate deep into the tissue. This effect activates blood flow and normalizes metabolism. Exposure to streams of water, which are supplied under a certain pressure, has a positive effect not only for tired legs, but also for the body as a whole.

Additional features

A hydromassage foot bath, reviews of the capabilities of which encourage many consumers to acquire such a useful device, can also be equipped with magnets. The field they create is indicated for carrying out procedures for muscle and joint pain, as well as for improving the health of the entire body. Some models have built-in infrared lamps, the radiation of which has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin, and also increases muscle elasticity and improves blood flow. Such hydromassage baths, the benefits and harms of which are an important topic in matters of health promotion, can be used both filled with water and without it: the result in both cases will be positive.

It is recommended to perform the hydromassage procedure while sitting. Firstly, this position will allow you to relax as much as possible and enjoy the relaxing procedure. Secondly, such devices are not designed to carry a lot of weight so that you can stand in them.

  • removes congestion;
  • renews tissues and cells;
  • accelerates the treatment of colds;

  • reduces joint pain;
  • relaxes muscles and ligaments;

The average duration of a foot hydromassage is 15-20 minutes. This time is enough to obtain maximum benefits for your body. After completing the procedure, the healthier legs need to be wiped dry with a towel and lubricated with a nourishing cream.

The legs should be alternately immersed first in one container, then in the second. After the procedure, which should be carried out no more than 2 times a week, you need to dry yourself with a towel.

Hydromassage of the legs not only relieves fatigue, but also has certain medical indications.

Contraindications for home hydromassage

A hydromassage foot bath, the benefits and harms of which are a favorite topic of many housewives, is not available to everyone who wants to improve their health. Fungal infections, muscle injuries, allergic manifestations, wounds on the legs, tumors are factors in which you should refuse massage. It is recommended to use this procedure with great caution during pregnancy, as well as circulatory problems. If you have varicose veins, joint pain, or diabetes, you should definitely consult a doctor.

According to consumer reviews, you should always monitor your well-being after taking a bath. If it worsens, the procedure must be stopped.

What could be nicer after a long working day than a foot massage? Today, in order to enjoy this procedure, it is not at all necessary to invite a professional massage therapist to your home or to beg your loved ones for this service.

An electronic invention - a foot massage bath - will help relieve fatigue from your feet and prepare them for a pedicure.

Just 5-7 years ago, such an adaptation could only be found in beauty salons and massage rooms. Today, it can be used at home, and the cost of this device is not that large and ranges from $30-170.

Let's figure out how to prefer and correctly use a foot massage bath.

Operating principle and benefits

On our soles there are a lot of biologically energetic points, the mechanical influence of which can beneficially influence many functions of the body.

The baths have a vibration effect on the feet: the plastic body vibrates, and in turn, water jets and massage rollers are connected to it.

The use of this device allows:

  • quickly relieve fatigue, tension, pain in the lower extremities;
  • improve blood circulation, relieve swelling;
  • strengthen ligaments and joints;
  • reduce foot sweating;
  • activate the removal of toxins, salts, speed up metabolism;
  • prepare your feet for a pedicure - after the water massage procedure, the skin becomes softer, the pores open, and therefore it becomes much easier to remove dead cells and cut off nails;
  • prevent the occurrence of varicose veins.

Indications for using a foot massage bath

The devices are used not only for relaxation and pleasure after an intense work day.

There are a number of medical problems for which doctors recommend regularly performing these glorious procedures, namely:

  • predisposition to varicose veins, deforming osteoarthritis;
  • swelling, pain, cramps and heaviness in the legs;
  • deterioration of metabolism as a result of a sedentary lifestyle;
  • sleep disorders.

Most modern models, with the exception of the simplest ones, combine several types of massage.

In order to achieve maximum benefit, you should consider medical indications and clearly understand why exactly the device is being purchased.

Among the existing functions of the device, the following options can be distinguished.

  • Hydromassage. This function is one of the most significant, and therefore is available in virtually all models. Water flows to the feet, thus improving blood circulation. In inexpensive devices, this function is often poorly expressed, and water vibrations do not have the desired effect. It is therefore better not to chase cheapness, but to prefer an expensive, but at the same time good thing that will serve you for many years.
  • Magnets. Devices with magnets have healing results and are prescribed for pain in muscles and joints. A magnet built into the bottom of the container creates a magnetic field that stimulates energetic points on the foot and reduces pain.
  • Infrared lamp. Massage foot baths with an infrared lamp also have healing results. The influence of infrared radiation helps improve blood circulation, increase muscle flexibility, and warm up the legs. Heating with an infrared lamp can be used both in a filled and in a dry bath - the result will be identical.
  • Vibration. Vibration massage is carried out through the bottom of the product. In different models it can be movable (on platforms), smooth or embossed - with rubberized rollers. The best results can be achieved by using models with moving platforms and vibration control. There are also units on sale with the function of using acupuncture elements that affect certain points on the foot.
  • Bubble mode. This function is also called Jacuzzi mode. Air bubbles produce water vibrations, which have a healing effect on the skin of the legs - increase blood circulation, relieve fatigue, and supply tissues with oxygen.
  • For dry massage. Such units provide the possibility of massage both in water and without it. The dry version is suitable for people who are afraid of tickling. The procedure can be carried out with the support of a massage nozzle (for acupuncture effects and for relaxing the feet) and infrared radiation. But there is no function for heating water in such products, so during the hydroprocedure you will have to add hot water yourself.
  • To correctly determine which foot massage bath is best for you, go to a massage parlor or beauty salon, consult with an expert and try several options on your own.

    Also pay attention to the secondary functions and technical variations of modern bathtubs, which greatly simplify operation.

  • Remote Control. It will allow you to set and change operating modes without bending over. This function will especially appeal to people with disabilities, the elderly and those who have unnecessary weight.
  • Automatic water heating. During the procedure, you don’t have to worry about the temperature of the water and add more hot water regardless.
  • Power. The more functionality the manufacturer promises, the greater the power should be. As usual, it can range from 60 to 100 W.
  • Considerable weight and rubberized legs. This is necessary to ensure that the device does not tip over during the procedure.
  • A long power cord and a device for winding it inside. This will provide you with safety and convenience.
  • When choosing, also consider the size of the unit, only if you are purchasing a device for all family members.

    All models have manicure attachments. Remember that removable attachments are much more comfortable to use than built-in ones.

    How to use?

    There is nothing difficult about using a foot massage bath. Just read the attached instructions and you can begin the procedure.

    Fill the container with water, but do not fill it to the brim, turn on the device, set the desired mode and immerse your feet in the water.

    The hydromassage procedure lasts on average 15 minutes.

    When finished, switch the power switch, remove the legs, turn off the power to the appliance and pour out the water.

    Precautionary measures. Remember that the procedure must be carried out only in a sitting position; the bottom of the device is not designed to support the entire mass of the human body.

    Do not leave the device plugged in unattended and do not plug it in after the legs have been lowered into a container of water.

    Use new, clean water each time and wash your feet religiously with soap and water before the procedure.
